Artist’s Statement

“It's a natural occurrence for me to paint from recollection. And, far more interesting to recall a place or experience re-imagined.  Today, I’m painting on a large-scale and for good reason.   Diminishing natural resources and the keen awareness of what has been lost since my early years in the country has me reeling. So, I am painting nature on a larger than life scale purposefully.”
